What happens when a stump is ground?

Stump grinding removes the remaining tree stump by grinding the wood down below ground level. This removes the visible stump without the disruption of digging out the entire root system.
Once the stump has been ground, the area can be cleared and prepared for whatever you want to do next, whether that is laying turf, replanting, landscaping or simply making better use of the space.
